Tales of the Crescent Isles
For information on the capital city of Illeau, click here.
The island has been inhabited for well over a thousand years, with the colonization of the Southern tip of the island by Elves, banished from their previous homeland due to religious persecution, according to the Theocratic council. These Elves called themselves Illeans. The Elves expanded into the fertile plains and thick forests present in the South, eventually building the capital Illeau, from which the country’s name originated.
As the oldest race currently residing on the island and their abundance of fertile which drives their agriculture-based society, they make up about half of the population of the island. Their population, while predominantly Elven, has started to see some diversification since the end of the Twenty-Five Year War.
